Water/Wastewater Supervisor

Island Waterworks is accepting applications for the position of Water/Wastewater Supervisor.  Class II Water & Wastewater license preferred, but will consider training qualified applicants.  Computer skills preferred.  Responsibilities include operation of wastewater treatment plant and water distribution system, collect and preserve permit samples and complete paperwork to ensure plant permit compliance, address problems in emergency situations, read water meters, repair water leaks, mow and weed-eat property, operate heavy equipment, general maintenance, etc.  Full-time with benefits, salary based on experience.  Mail resume to City of Island, PO Box 33, Island, KY 42350 or pick up application at City Hall at 280 Adams Avenue, Island, KY.  for more information call 270-486-3992 between 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM cst.  Monday-Friday.
